Prize money will be given out to the top 5 female and top 5 male participants for the full marathon participants. Prize money will no longer be awarded in the Masters division. Prize money winners may also receive age group awards. All prize money awards are based on gun time. Age group awards are based on chip time. See the chart below for prize money.
In the full marathon, awards will be given to the top 3 female and top 3 male participants in each of the following categories – Wheelchair, Clydesdale/Athena and these age groups: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65 69, 70-74, 75-80, 80 plus.
In the Team Relay Challenge, the top 3 relay teams will receive awards.
In the half marathon, prize money will be given to the top 5 female and top 5 male participants. Awards will be given to the top 3 female and males in each of the following categories – Wheelchair, Clydesdale/Athena and top 3 overall in: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-80, 80 plus.
The 5K will be chip-timed and awards will be presented to the top three men and women in each five year age group.
Awards will not be given for the WPS Kids’ 1K Power Run. All children will receive a children’s participation medal.
