Prize money will be given out to the top 10 female and male participants for the Full Marathon participants. Prize money will also be awarded for the Top 3 female and male Masters participants in the Full Marathon. Prize money winners may “double dip” in the open and masters prize money categories and may also receive age group awards. All prize money awards are based on gun time. Age group awards are based on chip time. See the chart below for prize money.
In the full marathon, awards will be given to the top 3 female and male in each of the following categories – Wheelchair, Clydesdale/Athena and these age groups: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65 69, 70-74, 75-80, 80 plus.
In the Team Relay Challenge, the top 3 relay teams will receive awards.
In the half marathon, prize money will be given to the top 5 female and male participants. Awards will be given to the top 3 female and male in each of the following categories – Wheelchair, Clydesdale/Athena and top 3 overall in: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-80, 80 plus.
The 2.62 Mile Mini Marathon will not be chip timed. Prizes will be given to the first 10 women and first 10 men to cross the finish line.
Awards will not be given for the WPS Kids’ 1K Run. All children will receive a children’s participation medal.
