Cellcom Green Bay Marathon Kicks Off with Road Racing Icon Bart Yasso
Annual Kick-Off Party Presented by Prevea Sports Medicine to be held Jan. 4
The Cellcom Green Bay Marathon kicks off training season on Jan. 4. Keynote speaker Bart Yasso, a road-racing icon, will inspire and motivate everyone in the audience, from novices to seasoned runners. As one of the best-known figures in the sport, Yasso’s message is this: Never limit where running can take you because each race has the potential for adventure. His talk will feature highs and lows from his 38 years of participating in races around the world. Attendees will get firsthand training tips and practical advice on how to become a runner for life and continually draw joy from the sport. The annual kick-off party presented by Prevea Sports Medicine will be held at the Green Bay Distillery (835 Mike McCarthy Way, Green Bay) on Jan. 4. Doors will open at 5:00 p.m. and the program starts at 6:00 p.m.
