How do I register?

You can either register online at our secure site or print out a mailable registration form and mail it to our office. Remember - there are no refunds.

What events do you offer?
A marathon, marathon relay, half marathon, and 5K. On Saturday, May 17, we offer the WPS’ Kids Power Run, the Prevea Health & Fitness Expo, and the Pasta Dinner which will be held at Lambeau Field this year.

Are we going through Lambeau Field?
Yes, all 3 events (marathon, half marathon, and 5K) will be going through Lambeau Field. You must be wearing a visible bib number to run through Lambeau Field. Lambeau Field will close at 2:00 p.m.

Are spectators allowed at Lambeau Field?
Yes, spectators can enter at the Lambeau Field Atrium. You will be directed to the open seating section.

Is this a Boston Marathon qualifier?
Yes, the course will be sanctioned and measured for this year's race as it has been in the past.

What are the Clydesdale and Athena categories?

This is a separate scoring opportunity for men weighing 200+ (clydesdale) and women weighing 160+ (athena) in both the full and half marathon events.  If you wish to be scored in this category, please choose this event when you register.

Is the course hilly?
There are no abrupt uphills or downhills, but there are some long inclines and declines between miles 7 and 10. This is a fast course as there are few turns and utilizes the river pathway.

What is the temperature in Green Bay that time of year?
According to weather.com, the average high is 68 degrees Fahrenheit and the average low is 45 degrees Fahrenheit.

Should I drive to the start or take a hotel shuttle?
Most of the Lambeau Field parking lots will be available on race day for participants. Due to the number of runners anticipated, parking will be limited so arrive early or car pool.  Do not park on main roads or roads marked "no parking" since many are part of the course. Non-locals staying in the marathon's partner hotels are encouraged to take the hotel shuttles since they will drop you off within a short walk of the start line, avoiding the hassle of parking and a long walk to the start line. Hotel shuttles return from Lambeau at the top of each hour from 9 am until 2 pm.

What is the sport drink?
Gatorade Endurance Formula (Lemon-Lime) is the official sports drink of the Marathon.

Will there be energy gel on the course?
Yes. GU will be available at mile 7 on the full & half marathon course, and at miles 13 & 20 on the full marathon course.

How far apart are the water stations?
Water Stations are located every 1.5 miles on the course.

How long will the course be open?
The marathon and half marathon course will be open for 7 HOURS, equivalent to a sixteen minute per mile pace for the marathon participants. Lambeau Field will be closing exactly seven hours after the start horn goes off, at 2:00 p.m. If you expect to travel at slower than a sixteen minute per mile pace and are intent on running through Lambeau Field, you should consider the half marathon course to afford yourself more time. There will be a support vehicle traveling behind the slowest finishers and maintaining a sixteen minute per mile pace .

Do I receive a medal?
Yes, all full and half marathon finishers receive a medal. The medal will be different for the two events.

What will I receive for participating in the marathon?
This event includes many amenities for participants, including t-shirts, goodie bags, and finisher medals for Full and Half Marathoners. Participants also have access to free Cellcom cellular phone use along the course and at the finish line. Sponges, fruit, and simple carbohydrates will be available along the course in addition to 20 water/sports drink stations, 8 Prevea Medical Stations providing Vasoline, ice, and first aid, to all participants. The finish line offers a Wisconsin tailgate party featuring brats, cheese, and Titletown Brewery 26.2 brew as well as bagels and fruit.

What is the route for the half marathon?
The half and full marathon share the same course for the first 11 miles.  The half marathon splits off and finishes in the Lambeau Field Lot. Both events have the same start line and finish line.

Can I switch events or transfer my entry to another participant?
Yes and Yes. You can switch events or transfer your entry to another participant on the front page of the website. There is a $5 administrative fee for switching events and transferring your entry. If you switch to a higher entry fee event, you must pay the difference.

Is there a place to keep my keys and extra clothes?
Yes, Gear Check will be available at the start and finish lines. You must show your bib number to claim your items.

How many runners do you expect?
In 2007, over 6,000 runners and walkers participated in the five events offered by the Cellcom Green Bay Marathon.

When is the last day to register?
The last day to register on-line is May 11th; however, prices increase on April 15th to $75 Marathon, $60 Half Marathon, $20 5K. Walk-in registation will be available at the Prevea Health Expo on Saturday, May 17. There will be no race day registration (except for the WPS Kids' Power Run on Saturday).

Where do I get my race packet?
Your race packet will be available on Friday, May 16 (4-7 p.m.) and on Saturday, May 17 (10 a.m. - 8 p.m.) at the Prevea Heath Expo in the Atrium at Lambeau Field, 1265 Lombardi Avenue. There will be NO RACE DAY PACKET PICK UP. .

What type of wheelchairs are allowed?
Push-rims are the only style of wheelchair allowed. The top 3 male/female wheelchairs are recognized in each event.

Are there bathrooms on the course?
Yes. Portable bathrooms will be located about every 2 miles along the course.

How many timing mats are there?

In addition to the start and finish line mats, there will be 5 on-course timing mats at miles 5, 10, 13.1, 15, and 20.

How do I get live results?

Powered by Nsight, Cellcom, and NetNet, all of the timing mats will provide live updates via email and/or text message.  To sign up, click Track Your Runner.
