Opportunities available throughout race week

The 2011 Cellcom Green Bay Marathon is seeking volunteers for a variety of activities and services for the twelfth annual event, which takes place May 13-15. Opportunities include, but are not limited to, packet assembly, goodie bag stuffing, expo staff, greeters, start and finish
line crews, food tent staff, course security, clean-up, information booth and more. A full listing of volunteer openings is available online.

“The Cellcom Green Bay Marathon is made possible each year by a large group of volunteers,” said Jody
Weyers, volunteer coordinator for the marathon. “Volunteering with family and friends is a great way to
get involved in the fun and excitement of race weekend and show support for this community event.”
Volunteers are offered training on the Thursday prior to race weekend. This orientation gives volunteers a
chance to pick up their volunteer t-shirt, meet the director of their volunteer area and ask any questions
they may have about their volunteer assignment. Time and location will be announced at a later date.

Anyone interested in volunteering can register HERE or contact Jody Weyers, volunteer coordinator, at
920-619-8387.
