The 2013 Cellcom Green Bay HALF marathon is sold out. Registration reached its 5,500 participant capacity on Monday, February 11. RACE ORGANIZERS DO NOT MAINTAIN A WAIT LIST but transfers from athlete to athlete are permitted through April 30, midnight. People interested in selling or purchasing an entry are encouraged to post on the event’s Facebook page (see link at right) and monitor the page for registrants who become injured, undertrained or are otherwise unable to use their entry. There is an automated online transfer link on the front page of the event website, under the registration tab. Buyers and sellers must coordinate payment between themselves. The automated online system imposes a $10 transfer fee on the buyer. Want to be sure you get in!? Become one of the 200 participants to take part in the RUN FOR A REASON program where you can raise the $300 fundraising minimum for our three charity partners, which will get you an entry into the half marathon or the full marathon! Details on the Run for a Reason program can be found on the Race Info > Charities link above. There is still time to train for the full marathon as well! Registration for the full marathon is still open, and we have many training resources available to runners to help you throughout your training. Details on some of the resources to help you achieve becoming a marathon finisher can be found under our training tabs above.
